The City of East Peoria seeks interested developers for an approximately 2-acre redevelopment site, owned by the city and located along the Illinois River across from downtown Peoria. Free blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol and spirometry screenings will be available from the Methodist Wellmobile at EastSide Centre, 1 Eastside Drive, from 7-10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8. The East Peoria Police Department is updating the parking permits issued to residents living in the area of East Peoria Community High School. To protect residents' privacy, the permits will have an identification number and will not list specific addresses. Those who currently have an orange parking permit will need to go to the East Peoria Police Department, 201 W. Washington St., within the next 60 days to receive an updated permit, free of charge.
