Online Utility Payments
The City of East Peoria continually strives to meet the needs of its residents. Therefore, we have taken the necessary steps to provide you with the ability of paying your city utility bills 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Visit the MyGovHub website to sign up for online billing or to pay your utility bill online. The site works on both desktop computers and mobile devices.
What You Can Do on MyGovHub
MyGovHub is more than just an application to simply pay your current utility bill online. Through MyGovHub you can:
Inquire on your utility billing account activity.
Review billing, payment and usage history over the last two years.
Make payments online by either debit/credit card or electronic check, at no additional charge.*
Enroll in paperless billing- this means you would be notified via email when your utility bill is issued instead of receiving a traditional paper bill in the mail.
* Please note that automatic payment is not available through MyGovHub, but can be set-up by completing and returning the automatic payment form to the City's Finance Department. The form can be found here or you can come to East Peoria City Hall, 401 W. Washington St., East Peoria.
1. Go to the MyGovHub Homepage.
2. Create an account by providing a valid email address and a password (eight to 20 characters with one letter and one number) of your choosing.
3. Verify your email address by clicking on the link in the email sent to you by the MyGovHub system.
4. Add an account by clicking on the "Add Accounts" icon.
5. Enter your service address exactly as stated on your bill but do not include East Peoria IL, 61611. Enter your account number without any dashes.
Signing up for Paperless Billing
Simply click on the required link under the Go Paperless section of the main overview screen. On the "My Profile" page click on the gray slide bar under the "Paperless Billing" column. Click "Submit" on the pop-up screen to change your billing preference. You will notice that the slide bar is now green and has been moved to the right. You are now signed up for paperless billing and will be notified via email when your utility bill is issued instead of receiving a traditional paper bill in the mail. You will still receive a mailed paper reminder if your bill is past due.

Click the E-Pay logo to pay your water and sewer bill online!
Residents can pay water and sewer utility bills online, using our secure, convenient system provided through the Illinois State Treasurer's Office. No additional fees are charged for paying online.
Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard. Customers will also need their water and sewer bill account number. Once in the E-Pay system, customers can click on question marks that appear at the end of required fields, and a pop-up window will appear showing exactly where the required information is on the bill.
Automatic payment authorization
Residents and businesses can pay water and sewer bills via automatic withdrawal from their bank accounts. This option offers convenience to water and sewer customers, and lowers the administrative cost and time incurred by the City Clerk's office in handling water and sewer payments.
Those wishing to use this payment system must download the above form which authorizes the city to draw debits or drafts for water and sewer payments.
Information required on the form include the customer's name and address, full name and address of the financial institution, the account number and bank transit routing number (both numbers are printed on checks), and a withdrawal limit amount. A signature is also required. Staff in the City Clerk's office can assist customers with filling out the forms.
How quickly this payment option takes effect for a customer depends on when the application is submitted in the water and sewer billing cycle. It remains in effect indefinitely unless a 30-day notice of cancellation is submitted.
