FOLEPI River Trail Classic

For the third consecutive year, Jacki McKown of Brimfield outran all the other women to win the overall female division of the Festival of Lights’ FOLEPI River Trail Classic, a four-mile run on the River Trail of Illinois which occurred Nov. 26. Winning the overall men’s division for the second year in a row was Guillermo Rolan of Peoria. There were 315 entrants in this year’s race.

Rolan, 38, had a time of 20:33 minutes, earning the overall top spot for the men. McKown, 24, ran the course in 24:02 minutes.

Age group winners were:

  • Age 1-10: Women – first place, Grace Cleary of Normal.; second place, Ella Fisher of Peoria; third place, Brianna Rucker of Apple Valley, Minn.; Men – first place, Peter Stoltz of Mapleton; second place, Patrick Cleary of Normal.
  • Age 11-14: Women – first place, Morgan Vermillion of Pekin; second place, Cassdiy Earleywine of Chillicothe;  third place, Daelyn Quinn of Newburgh, Ind.; Men – first place, Jacob Turner of Morton; second place, Bailey Webster of East Peoria; third place, August Hug of Ft. Thomas, Ky.
  • Age 15-19: Women – first place, Piper Belden of East Peoria; second place, Sabrina Rucker of Apple Valley, Minn.; third place, Rachel MacNaughton of Sheffield; Men – first place, Seth Barrowman of Washington; second place, Alex Feller of Bartonville; third place, Cameron Kavanaugh of Frankfort.
  • Age 20-24: Women – first place, Hannah Booker of Tremont; second place, Hannah Magnuson of Chicago; third place, Brittney Wright of Washington; Men – first place, Wes Anderson of Dahinda; second place, Garrett Belden of East Peoria.
  • Age 25-29: Women – first place, Monica Hinz of Morton; second place, Elizabeth Boudeman of Morton; third place, Sarah Rammelsberg of East Peoria; Men – first place, Neil Cioffman of Cedar Rapids, Mich; second place, James Boudeman of Morton; third place, Derek Pruitt of Eureka.
  • Age 30-34: Women – first place, Raquel Herron of Chillicothe; second place, Kim Peterson of Peoria; third place, Tara Terpening of East Peoria; Men – first place, Clint Wells of Clinton; second place, Jason Hurst of Peoria third place, Brent Hinz of Morton.
  • Age 35-39: Women – first place, Amber Ferri of Normal; second place, Rachel Borton of East Peoria; third place, Melinda Reiners of East Peoria; Men – first place, Andy Williams of Leroy; second place, Mitchell Hurst of Delavan; third place, Abraham Cremeens of West Lafayette, Ind.
  • Age 40-44: Women – first place, Angie Banister of Peoria; second place, Rena Hill of Brimfield; third place, Tina Bajic of Pekin; Men – first place, Gary Savage Jr. of Bloomington; second place, Tim Leschtenberg of Pekin; third place, Steve Laning of Normal.
  • Age 45-49: Women – first place, Rebecca Hug of Ft. Thomas, Ky.; second place, Brenda Shawgo of Canton; third place, Michelle Spain of Fiserville, Ky.; Men – first place, Dave Nordhielm of Washington; second place, Gregory Hug of Ft. Thomas, Ky.; third place, Kevin Kavanaugh of Frankfort.
  • Age 50-54: Women – first place, Crystal Kyle of Peoria; second place, Jenni Anderson of Dahinda; third place, Dawn Hinds of Peoria; Men – first place, Kevin O’Conno of Groveland; second place, Rob Cairncross of East Peoria; third place, Paul Bliss.
  • Age 55-59: Women – first place, Carol Pratt of Varna; second place, Micki Gifford of Pekin; third place, Jeanne Gleason of Normal; Men – first place, Gene Pflederer of East Peoria; second place, Pat McCue of Goodfield; third place, Mike Monson of Urbana.
  • Age 60-64: Women – first place, Barbara Harte of Ottawa; second place, Patricia Keim of East Peoria; third place, Diane Legaspi of Bartonville; Men – first place, John Watson of Pekin; second place, tom Mullen of Peoria; third place, Jim Rindtleisch of Peoria.
  • Age 65-69: Women – first place, Melody Stonier of Peoria; second place, Linda Rhoades of Washington; third place, Jan Nelson of Peoria; Men – first place, John Malson of Germantown Hills; second place, John Windland of East Peoria; third place, Skip Ashcraft of Princeville.
  • Age 70-74: Women – first place, Sandy Theobold of Peoria; second place, Annette Lobdell of Peoria; Men – first place, Bill Melton of Lincoln; second place, Bill Washburn of Washington.
  • Age 75 and older: Men – first place, Mike Rucker of Peoria.
