Historic Holiday Traditions

The 130-year-old Doering Homeplace provides a unique look back in time during open houses sponsored by the East Peoria Historical Society occurring as part of the East Peoria Festival of Lights. Holiday decorations will include 1800s-style handmade ornaments.
Groups wishing to tour the historic home at times other than the open houses, for a fee, must call (309) 699-6635 to make an appointment.
