Historic Holiday Traditions

Historic Holiday Traditions

  • Doering Homeplace, 326 Pekin Ave., East Peoria
  • Cost: Free admission
The 133-year-old Doering Homeplace provides a unique look back in time during open houses sponsored by the East Peoria Historical Society occurring as part of the East Peoria Festival of Lights. Holiday decorations will include 1800s-style handmade ornaments. As darkness sets in, candles will be used to light the home.
