Festival of Lights Displays
Located throughout East Peoria are other lighted displays, including the 35-foot wreath on Fon du Lac Drive welcoming all to the Festival of Lights. The wreath is actually a Ferris wheel, and has been a part of the festival for each of its 29 years.
A 17-foot-tall lighted star shines off Springfield Road. In addition, many businesses and homes are decorated for the duration of the Festival of Lights.
The Festival of Lights also pays tribute to the military with lighted displays of each branch of armed forces, as well as floats of the American flag and a toy tank.
