The City of East Peoria is seeking qualified candidates for full-time clerical work involving moderately complex and varied work methods and procedures in the records unit of the EPPD. Duties will include but are not limited to maintaining all records, criminal files, and documents. Assist with requests from other departments and the public. Responsible for entering information from reports into computer system, disseminate reports and criminal records. Will answer phones, greet and assist the general public. Candidates should possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate with the public exercising tact and discretion. Ability to multi-task is a must. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and live within 20 miles of the City's corporate limits. The City of East Peoria is looking for an experienced and responsible landscaper to join our team in the City owned portion of the Levee District. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers. The landscaper will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, and decorative shrubs. The landscaper will water, fertilize, and prune to remove damaged or dying plant life. Landscape experience preferred. Drug screen and valid DL required.

Group Exercise Instructors
EastSide Centre is looking for part-time and substitute Group Exercise Instructors who are dynamic, enthusiastic, and energetic. Candidates must have a current National Fitness or Group Certification (Personal Training, Group Exercise, Turbo Kick, P90X, Core De Force, PiYo LIVE, SPINNING, SilverSneakers, ZUMBA, BODYPUMP, R.I.P.P.E.D., Yoga/Pilates, etc.). Candidates must have an up-to-date CPR certification, at least six months of actual group exercise teaching experience or are willing to work hard to gain experience necessary. Candidates must keep certifications current per requirements of specific format, supply music needed for teaching via personal iPOD or phone, and keep a beat to the music. Candidates must be prepared to teach/cue and lead a group of participants of all ages and fitness levels/abilities through a fitness class safely, with modifications if necessary, create a healthy, entertaining environment, learn new releases on time and be prepared for the format that they teach. Must have safe, good fitness form and technique at all times, able to demo and perform all exercises correctly while teaching, eager to learn, and be a TEAM player. Candidates will be expected to arrive 5-10 minutes before class is to begin and end the class on time, flexible with scheduled class times, willing to teach when needed, available to sub/teach all scheduled classes or find a sub. Candidates must have a positive attitude and create a FUN environment, where the job is to serve the members with a smile!
