The City of East Peoria welcomes the softball players, coaches and fans at EastSide Centre for the National Softball Association Class B National Tournament, July 25-31. Between 175 and 200 teams will be competing. Good luck to all teams! |

| Bloodmobile coming to City Hall |

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at East Peoria City Hall, 100 S. Main St., from 1-5 p.m. Aug. 4. Appointments are not necessary. Those donating blood must have vital signs within normal limits and feel well the day of the donation. For more information, call 698-4715. |

| Free car seat checks Aug. 4 |

Parents can make sure car seats are properly installed in vehicles during a free child car seat check from 1-4 p.m. Aug. 4 at the East Peoria Fire Department Central Station, 201 W. Washington St. |

| Free health screenings available at EastSide |
|
Free blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol and spirometry screenings will be available from the Methodist Wellmobile at EastSide Centre, 1 Eastside Drive, from 8-10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9. Appointments are not necessary, but fasting is required for two of the tests, two hours for blood glucose and 12 hours for cholesterol.
