Voter Registration

Anyone residing in the City of East Peoria may register at the City Clerk's office during office hours.

Already registered and need to know where to vote? Don't know what Congressional District you are in? Registered voters may visit the Illinois Online Voter website to find all the information they need.

Who is Qualified to Register to Vote

  • A United States citizen
  • Anyone 17 years old on or before the date of the Primary Election and turning 18 on or before the date of the General Election
  • A resident of your election precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day

Who Must Register

  • Every qualified person who desires to vote
  • Any currently registered person who has had a name change
  • Any currently registered voter who has failed to transfer his/her registration to their present address and whose registration was cancelled as a result

Who Must Transfer Their Registration

  • Any person who has moved to a new address within the City of East Peoria

Registration Process

Identification Required

Two forms of identification are required to register to vote. At least one form must include a current residence (i.e. driver's license, check book, utility bill, a postmarked piece of mail, etc.).
