  • October 31
  • 5 - 8 p.m.

All trick-or-treating children should be back at their homes by the 8 p.m. curfew.

Advisory Notice

Parents should know where their children are going, and make sure yards are clear of things that can be a tripping hazard such as ladders, hoses, dog leashes and flower pots.

Halloween Safety

The National Crime Prevention Council suggests:

  • All candy should be examined before it is eaten.
  • Children should carry a flashlight or glow stick to improve visibility.
  • Children should wear reflective clothing to help make them more visible.
  • Costumes should not drag on the ground.
