While there will be some modifications - online and phone retail sales (with delivery or curbside pickups), some re-openings of state parks (with guidelines for use) and the resumption of some elective surgeries, among other things - Governor Pritzker stressed that "this is the part where we have to dig in."

East Peoria Police Modify Some Call Response

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the East Peoria Police Department is making some changes in how it responds to calls. Effective immediately, if the call can be handled by telephone, the officer will contact the victim/complainant by phone to obtain the necessary information to complete a report and/or answer questions. The change is being made out of an abundance of caution and an attempt to limit potential exposure of the COVID-19 virus to public safety personnel.
