It was a morning for people were on the run this holiday season at the 33rd Annual FOLEPI River Trail Classic. They raced to win one of the best trophies in the area - they light up! The FOLEPI River Trail Classic occurred place on the paved River Trail of Illinois, a scenic, mostly downhill, point-to-point run. Age divisions were 13 and younger to 80 and older.

Awards Presentation
Awards were presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each age division in the 4-mile run. The awards presentation occurred during a post-race party will at Mickie’s Pizzeria, 1051 E Washington Street. The lighted trophies were presented by our very own Folepi, the East Peoria Festival of Lights mascot, and the 2023 Festival of Lights Queen Jenessa Bowen.
