Two items from IDOT:

Item Number 1 - Construction on the McClugage Bridge, which carries U.S. 150 over the Illinois River, begins today, Monday, March 23. The work involves repairs to the bridge deck and will require daily closures of one to two lanes. The project is expected to be complete Friday, March 27. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Use alternate routes if possible.

Item Number 2 - Traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Main and Camp streets in East Peoria is set for Tuesday, March 24. This was originally scheduled for last week but had to be postponed due to the rain. The work requires the intersection to be controlled by a flashing red (four-way stop) light beginning at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to be finished by the end of the day. There will be no lane closures. But motorists should expect delays and should use alternate routes if possible.
