Online applications will be accepted starting at 9 a.m. July 1 for the East Peoria Housing Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher waiting list.
Only 500 applications will be made active and the remaining ones will be placed on the waitlist in an inactive status until the first list is exhausted. The online application portal will be available 24 hours a day until 11:59 p.m. July 15. Those wishing to apply during the open period should visit https://www.waitlistcheck.com/IL3038.
The waiting list has the following local preferences:
- Family and/or elderly/disabled households.
- Applicants residing within the East Peoria corporate limits at the time of application.
- Applicants residing within Tazewell County but outside the East Peoria corporate limits at the time of application.
Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by preference, date and time the application is received.
