The public can offer input on the East Peoria Riverfront Trail Study during two open house meetings, one in-person and one virtual, hosted by the City of East Peoria and Tri-County Regional Planning Commission. The East Peoria Riverfront Trail is proposed to connect the existing trail at Bass Pro Shops with the new trailhead under construction at the McClugage Bridge. Meeting organizers want to know if a connecting trail along the river is desired by citizens, where it should be located and what features are wanted such as views and amenities.

The in-person event will occur from 4 - 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 3 at East Peoria City Hall, 401 W Washington Street, in the City Council Chambers.

The virtual open house will occur via Zoom from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 4. Virtual participants can join the meeting from their computer, tablet or smartphone at this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87432715638?pwd=YXJkblprRjh0RmlnTWdLbGZrSUh0Zz09

The meeting ID is 874 3271 5638 and the passcode is 787974.

Participants can also choose to dial in to the November 3 meeting by calling 877-853-5247 or 888-788-0099.
