East Peoria Water Department has launched a mass mailing to meet mandated Illinois Environmental Protection Agency requirements identifying what kind of water line comes into your residence. Surveys are being sent out in batches of 2,000 alphabetically by street name. The first batch of 2,000 surveys was mailed in January. The next batch of 2,000 surveys is being mailed Wednesday, February 1, along with second notices for the first 2,000 sent. Additional surveys will be sent in the coming weeks to reach all water customers. If you have not yet completed your survey, please do so as soon as possible.
For those just now receiving the survey for the first time, please complete it as soon as possible.
There will be two more mailings of 2,000 each within the upcoming weeks. The East Peoria Water Department requests that everyone help with gathering this EPA-mandated information. The information gathered will only be used for required IEPA purposes and NOT distributed to anyone else.
The survey from the East Peoria Water Department only applies to East Peoria water customers, not those in the Northern Tazewell Water District.
