Seven city-owned residential lots are being sold by a sealed bidding process. Each lot is vacant, unoccupied and open for public inspection. All bids must be submitted to the City Clerk’s office before 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

EP Police now wear body cameras

East Peoria Police officers are now wearing body cameras in the field. All department members are equipped with a VieVu body camera. The camera will be activated when an officer is responding to a call for service or engaged in law enforcement activities.

Vendors are sought for the eighth annual East Peoria Farmer's Market, which will be held weekly on Fridays at a new time, 4 until 7 p.m. June 7 through Sept. 27 and this year allowing food trucks and carts.

Deadline approaching to order recycling toters

July will be here before we know it, and that is when residents who recycle must have the new 96-gallon blue lid recycling toter. This replaces the small bins and must be in use by July 1, 2019. Order by May 31 to ensure delivery by the July 1 deadline.
